Legacy of Caring Gala and Auction: A Fun Opportunity to Give Back to the Community

The Chapel Women’s Guild is delighted that once again, Big Canoe Realty will be a sponsor of the annual Legacy of Caring; the proceeds from which support charitable organizations in Pickens and Dawson counties whose primary focus is the well being of women and children.

Purchase your tickets now for the annual Legacy of Caring Gala and Auction to be held at Big Canoe’s Clubhouse at Lake Sconti on Saturday, April 29th, at 5:30 PM.

The evening promises to be an elegant and fun occasion, featuring animated bidding in a live and silent auction. The enticing items up for grab include wine tastings, dinners, vacations, Braves tickets, artwork, and jewelry. Adventure seekers will want to bid on the white-water rafting excursion, while those looking for a more peaceful day will opt for the relaxing pontoon cruise on lovely Lake Petit.

World-renowned magician and comedian, Joe Turner, will thrill and dazzle guests throughout the evening with his astounding tricks, illusions and hilarious standup comedy. He will also perform on the Veranda immediately prior to the live auction. Music will be provided by Big Canoe favorite, Bill Pound.

The Legacy of Caring Marketplace will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017, and Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in and around the Big Canoe Chapel Broyles Center.

There will be a juried Arts and Crafts Show, Collectors’ Corner, the Book Nook, Bear Paw Bakery, the Crazy Bear Café, and on Saturday only, a Classic and Vintage Car show.

Don’t forget: All proceeds from the Legacy of Caring will go to support charitable organizations in Pickens and Dawson counties whose primary focus is the well being of women and children. This is one event you won’t want to miss!
