Sharon Collins, executive producer and host of “Georgia Outdoors” on Georgia Public Broadcasting network, will speak on the topic of Black Bears in Georgia. Collins is also an Emmy-winning correspondent and former anchor for CNN, and will share the experience of her travels to the wooded hills of Georgia to reveal the plight of the American black bear. Participants will also be shown a documentary about Georgia’s black bears, produced by Ms. Collins. The presentation begins at 4:30 p.m., preceded by beverages and conversation at 4:00 p.m., and then dinner will be served following the program. Dinner will include salmon, greens with nuts, wild rice, and berry cobbler. Cost of the program (including dinner) is $30 per person.
