My Happy Place

I remember years ago when I was sitting in Buckhead traffic at the corner of Peachtree and Piedmont waiting for what seemed like forever to get across the intersection, staring at a billboard that just said “Big Canoe” with the iconic logo. Little did I know that I would own a second home in this beautiful community years later. We feel very fortunate to have such a nice place to get away from the craziness of the big city. As much as we want to keep this place to ourselves as our own little piece of tranquility, that would not make it sustainable for years to come. I would like for my children to enjoy our home in Big Canoe and eventually share it with their children.

Some people may love it “as is”, but as homeowners, we all would like to make sure we made a good investment and look forward to the future of our community. I love the fact that as I was traveling through Atlanta this week, I saw a new digital billboard for Big Canoe right in the heart of Buckhead. Not only does it give me a sense of pride, but it makes me even more excited to get back to my happy place this coming weekend.
