Located within The Chimneys is our Conference Center and Lodging reservation desk. All our meeting rooms contain fireplaces, hardwood floors, elegant furnishings and open spaces that allow you to enjoy your surroundings in a relaxed atmosphere. Big Canoe can meet your corporate, reception and wedding needs with facilities and accommodations for up to 260 people.
The reception area off the main entrance provides transition space for arriving guests. All three meeting rooms at The Chimneys Conference Center are connected with doorways and can be used for a flowing reception format. The Ivy and Laurel rooms open up nicely for business meetings or breakout rooms and provide you with a view of Lake Sconti. Our outdoor facilities include a large stone patio and porches overlooking Lake Sconti.
Facilities & Rates
All three meeting rooms are connected with doorways and can be used for a flowing reception format. The Laurel Room is a boardroom with hardwood conference tables, swivel chairs, gas log fireplace, antique sideboard and a cozy seating area. The Ivy and Tavern Rooms can easily convert to accommodate your group's needs, whether a cocktail party or a seminar. The Chimneys building is located in Wolfscratch Village overlooking Lake Sconti. All of the meeting rooms have hardwood floors, 12 foot ceilings and fireplaces. The atmosphere here at Big Canoe will relax and separate you from the fast-paced excitement of the big city while allowing you to be as connected as you need to be for practical meeting and business purposes.For corporate events, seminars, business meetings, parties, weddings and receptions we have the following equipment available for your convenience. Rental Equipment Rates are based on daily rental and due to limited quantities these should be reserved in advance. Additional equipment can be rented through outside audio-visual services.
