Fuego Mexican Grill
Big Canoe waited a long time for a Mexican Restaurant, and finally two years ago Fuego Mexican Grill opened up just outside the North Gate, and it has been popular ever since!
Fuego is a family-run restaurant with a casual atmosphere and reasonable prices. Families are welcome and of course there’s a kids menu. You can get your tacos and enchiladas of course, but there are also some special dishes like Tampiquena [a marinated skirt steak] and sizzling Fajitas de la Casa...all made to order.
This is truly authentic Mexican cuisine... with several different kinds of margaritas to complete your “south of the border” experience.
There is patio dining, and big-screen TV watching for sports fans. Live music is often featured on weekends.
Fuego does a lively take-out business.
They are open at 7 AM for breakfast every day. Lunch and dinner are also served every day, and the restaurant is open until 10 PM every night except Sunday when they close at 8 PM.
